I will discuss two of the primary Mac OS email clients in this section: CE Software's QuickMail Pro 1.5/2.0 and Microsoft's Outlook Express 4.5/5.0/5.1. One of the great features of these two email clients is that they are highly AppleScript-able.
Hello Experts,Basically, I have a client who uses a heterogenous network configuration (a network with Windows and Mac Operating Systems). They want a database solution that will store contacts in groups. That is all fine and very simple. I figured File Make Pro would be an ideal choice as it works well on both platforms. I don't think there is an MS Access for the Mac OS Platform.
However, they all use MS Outlook connected to an Exchange Server. What they essentially want is, to be able to send Emails via Outlook using File Maker Pro. Now this would be quite easy using MS Access by declaring an Outlook Object and sending Emails via the Outlook object. What I would like to know is, is it possible to use File Maker Pro to send Emails using Outlook (connected to Exchange)?
Another question I'd like to know is, I want to deploy the File Maker Pro as Multi User access (Client Server fashion). How do I deploy it in that way?

So basically two questions:
1. Can I use File Maker pro to send Emails via MS Outlook and if so how can I do it?

Thanks in advance.
